About Thomas
Building the Future
Thomas Bunnik is a Dutch serial entrepreneur and technology executive, best known as the Co-founder and CEO of digital wealth manager Pritle (exit BinckBank) and Co-founder and CEO of Whoppah, Europe's largest online marketplace for secondhand designer furniture, interior items, and art.

Early Life & Career
Thomas Bunnik has been inspired by international entrepreneurship since his youth, with a particular interest in investing and leading people that developed in his early twenties.
Bunnik began his professional career at ABN AMRO Bank in 2006, where he worked for approximately eight years. During his tenure, he held positions in investment services, products development, and management. He frequently worked seven days a week, demonstrating the intense work ethic that would characterize his entrepreneurial ventures.
Despite his dedication, by 2012 Bunnik felt unfulfilled in his banking role. During a weekend trip to Las Vegas in December 2012, he began seriously contemplating entrepreneurship. After initially considering various business ideas, he ultimately decided to leverage his banking expertise to address fundamental issues in the investment industry.
This conviction led Thomas to found Pritle in 2014, Europe's pioneering independent online wealth manager. He saw an opportunity to democratize wealth management using technology, making investing accessible, transparent, and affordable for millions of Europeans. Pritle grew to serve 6,500 customers with €60 million in assets under management, a team of 32 employees across 10 nationalities, and was ultimately acquired by BinckBank for €12.5 million in 2017, marking the first robo-advisory acquisition in continental Europe.
After the acquisition, Thomas spent time traveling in Latin America before co-founding Whoppah in 2019 with his wife Evelien, setting out to build Europe's largest online marketplace for secondhand designer furniture and art, proving that sustainability and great business can go hand in hand.
